Founded by board-certified Nurse Practitioner Kenisha Turner, RiverCity Wellness & IV Hydration was created to provide a personalized, clinical, and compassionate approach to wellness. With over 13 years of real-world experience in healthcare—including bedside nursing, clinical education, and entrepreneurship—Kenisha brings deep expertise and heart-centered care to every visit.

Originally called HydrateNP, the name evolved to reflect both the local identity of Jacksonville ("River City") and the broader wellness vision beyond hydration alone.

Kenisha Turner is a compassionate healthcare professional with over 13 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. Her journey in medicine began at the bedside—caring for patients in hospital med-surg units, where she also served as a charge nurse and clinical educator at UF Health Jacksonville. These roles not only sharpened her clinical skills but ignited a deep desire to deliver care that’s personal, preventive, and patient-centered.

In founding RiverCity Wellness & IV Hydration, Kenisha brings her clinical expertise and community-first mindset to create a wellness space where people can feel both refreshed and truly cared for. Every service offered is grounded in evidence-based medicine, and every interaction reflects her commitment to integrity, safety, and whole-person healing.

Her practice is more than just a clinic—it’s an extension of her calling. She launched this business to help busy professionals, health-conscious individuals, and women facing hormonal transitions to reclaim their energy, clarity, and confidence—without long waits or rushed appointments.

Kenisha is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and a proud member of the American IV Association. Her entrepreneurial spirit is also rooted in family, which gave her the tools and resilience to step fully into her own.

Fun fact: The original name for the business was “HydrateNP,” but as her vision grew, so did the name. Now, “RiverCity Wellness & IV Hydration” reflects not just the local pride of Jacksonville, Florida, but a commitment to total wellness.

Unlike many IV lounges run by non-clinical staff, your care here is delivered by a licensed APRN with direct patient-care experience. We don’t believe in “drip and go”—we educate, listen, and tailor your treatment to your individual wellness goals.
